Hi Ho! Horses are here!

Good morning my beady friends! :) It's snowing outside and I need to shovel a path to get to the studio today! But before I tackle that chore, I'm listing some new goodies in the shop for you! Here are two new horse beads.....a bold friesian and a colourful buckskin!

New Beads!

Well after a busy season of travelling I'm happy to be back in the studio once again. I've listed some lovely new focal beads in the shop with new beads coming up daily! Now is the time to get your orders in for the holiday season - let me know what you need and I'll be sure to get it to you in time for Christmas!

I'm Back!

Ok so I didn't go too far....just took a bit of a break from the studio this summer and fall! Things have been insanely hectic the past few years - all good stuff - just no downtime! So, in order to refuel my creative "think tank" I decided to give myself a rest. Now I'm refreshed, recharged and happily back in the studio once again! Here are two new beads in my favourite styles that I've listed in my Etsy shop for you, ( www.kerribeads.etsy.com ) a feisty raven holding a bright, red berry and a serene swan gliding under a full moon.

New Beads Today!

Good Monday Morning everyone!

Thanks to some special custom requests I've had lately, I've been working on some new beads and have a few to share today! One is a cheeky raven with a bright red berry and the other is a cheerful red winged blackbird! I'm working on more beads throughout the week so I hope you'll check back to see what's new!

Spring Flight...

Good Morning! I just wanted to share another new bead with you! This ruby-throated hummingbird is happily contemplating which flower he will visit next....I just love the colors in this little guy!

Hummingbirds!

Spring is in the air, the flowers are up and I think I hear the distinct buzz of....hummingbirds! Thanks to a special customer request, I am now creating these colorful little beads - what a fun way to start the season!

Aromatherapy Vessels....

Something new for today! I've just listed this ornate Victorian Tapestry Vessel in my shop. I've been busy in the studio getting back into designing my petite aroma vessels....so fun! Mother's Day is not far away and I think these would make a lovely gift....perhaps with her favorite perfume!

New beads - no foolin'!

Well a Happy April Fools to all of you bead enthusiasts out there! Hopefully you've all avoided having someone play a prank on you or at least got some good ones in yourself! ;)

I've been busy in the studio once again and have some new goodies in the shop this week! Horses have been on my mind and I've been working on my shading techniques and horses are the perfect subject to "paint" in glass. I have a saucy palomino, a majestic buckskin and two ghostly greys in the herd today. Also some new ravens and my made to order beads sets are back!

Bead Oasis Show in Vancouver!

Exciting News!

Oh my, where has the beginning of the year gone? Things have been hectic, but good! I've been traveling a fair bit lately teaching at some great studios such as Scarab Glassworks in California, Bedrock Supply in Edmonton and locally here at Andrighetti Glassworks in Vancouver! My next trip is to Calgary to teach at the Tiffany House Gallery in May.

Today I discovered a fun surprise while having my coffee and looking on the Bead Trends website....one of my favorite jewelry pieces has made the cover of the April issue! The best part of all, this special issue features my fabulous friend, Stephanie Dieleman as the Designer Highlight! You'll definitely want to check out this issue to see her gorgeous designs and beautiful beads!!

Stephanie and I have just finished the first Fraser Valley Bead Show (it was great!!) and are gearing up for our next local show....Bead Oasis in downtown Vancouver, BC, on March 26-28 at the Empire Landmark Hotel on Robson Street. http://www.oasisshows.com/Vancouver/2010/index.php

Well I hope you are all having a great start to the year! I've been spending time in the studio creating a few new pieces for the shop if you want to drop in to take a peek! Some of my new favorites are these two swans.....I have softly etched them so they feel like vintage porcelain cameos...so romantic!

I will be traveling a lot this year with teaching engagements, bead shows and a few holidays thrown in for good measure. In January, I'll be away from the 5th - 19th so all bead orders made on Jan 4th or later will be mailed out when I return. So now is the time to contact me if you need something special in time for Valentine's Day!
