New Bird Beads!

Oh how I love birds....little ones, big ones, black ones and colourful ones! Here is a new raven bead and a happy little chirper in the shop today! Enjoy!

Monarch Butterflies.....

I hope your weekend is off to a good start! I started the day by photographing and listing some fun new beads in the shop! Bright and cheerful Monarch butterflies, dragonflies, perfume vessels and other goodies are all there for you to see! I'm spending the weekend at the torch so stay tuned for more surprises early next week!

Butterflies!

Even though it's been a rainy spring here on the West Coast (or should I say WET coast??), I feel confident that Spring is on the way! So, in eager anticipation of seeing blooming flowers and colourful insects once again, I'm creating butterflies! Today I have a selection of vibrant blue/green butterfly focal beads as well as a lovely little bead set!

Black Stallion Tutorial is Ready!!

It's a beautifully sunny Sunday here in BC and I'm happy to report that my newest tutorial is ready and now available in my Etsy shop! I'm very excited about this one and would love to hear what you think!

New Beads Today!

Today is Friday, and I've been busy in the studio the past few days! New horses, some sweet little birds and hearts are in the shop today. This weekend will be busy but I'll have new work next week as well. My goal is to keep the shop full of new surprises, so please keep checking back to see what's new!

Horses!

I just love creating horse beads, each one has their own personality and spirit! Here are two new steeds in the stable today....a buckskin and a fiery grey!

The sun is starting to shine here on the rainy west coast...so off I go to enjoy it! Have a great day!

Vessels!

I have been back to making my miniature perfume bottles and vessels once again! With spring in the air and the smell of fresh flowers blooming, I am reminded of the power of scent and the allure of aromatherapy. From that, comes the inspiration to create delicate little vessels to contain these precious oils and elixers.......

New Facebook Fan Page!

Spring is in the air and that means fun new things are happening in the studio! This time of year inspires me so much.....especially when all the little birds start to come back from their winter holiday and wake me up in the mornings with their sweet little chirps and whistles! I'm working on a new series of bird beads and have some in the shop - do drop in to take a peek!

Glass Line Magazine tutorial and new Classes!!

Hello Everyone!

Well I have certainly been a distracted blogger as of late. A lot has been happening and I will be posting more regularly now to keep you all informed on my newest beads, classes and other exciting, bead related news!

First of all, I have a new, 6 page tutorial on how I make my swan beads featured in the latest issue of Glass Line Magazine! You can purchase a copy through their website at www.hotglass.com (click the header of this post for a direct link to their website!).
I was delighted to see one of my beads featured on the cover and am thrilled with the look of the tutorial! I hope you really enjoy it.

Also, I will be teaching two, 2-day classes at Ed Hoy's International in Chicago in the beginning of June! Class details can be found on their website at http://www.edhoy.com/Class.aspx. These classes are so much fun and I hope to see you there!

Hi Ho! Horses are here!

Good morning my beady friends! :) It's snowing outside and I need to shovel a path to get to the studio today! But before I tackle that chore, I'm listing some new goodies in the shop for you! Here are two new horse beads.....a bold friesian and a colourful buckskin!

Well after a busy season of travelling I'm happy to be back in the studio once again. I've listed some lovely new focal beads in the shop with new beads coming up daily! I'm Back!

Ok so I didn't go too far....just took a bit of a break from the studio this summer and fall! Things have been insanely hectic the past few years - all good stuff - just no downtime! So, in order to refuel my creative "think tank" I decided to give myself a rest. Now I'm refreshed, recharged and happily back in the studio once again! Here are two new beads in my favourite styles that I've listed in my Etsy shop for you, ( www.kerribeads.etsy.com ) a feisty raven holding a bright, red berry and a serene swan gliding under a full moon.

Good Monday Morning everyone!

Thanks to some special custom requests I've had lately, I've been working on some new beads and have a few to share today! Spring Flight...

Good Morning! I just wanted to share another new bead with you! This ruby-throated hummingbird is happily contemplating which flower he will visit next....I just love the colors in this little guy!

Hummingbirds!

Spring is in the air, the flowers are up and I think I hear the distinct buzz of....hummingbirds! Thanks to a special customer request, I am now creating these colorful little beads - what a fun way to start the season!

Aromatherapy Vessels....

Something new for today! I've just listed this ornate Victorian Tapestry Vessel in my shop. I've been busy in the studio getting back into designing my petite aroma vessels....so fun! Mother's Day is not far away and I think these would make a lovely gift....perhaps with her favorite perfume!

New beads - no foolin'!

Well a Happy April Fools to all of you bead enthusiasts out there! Hopefully you've all avoided having someone play a prank on you or at least got some good ones in yourself! ;)

I've been busy in the studio once again and have some new goodies in the shop this week! Horses have been on my mind and I've been working on my shading techniques and horses are the perfect subject to "paint" in glass. I have a saucy palomino, a majestic buckskin and two ghostly greys in the herd today. Also some new ravens and my made to order beads sets are back!

Bead Oasis Show in Vancouver!
